MB’s versatile crusher buckets entering Chinese market

Producing materials on-site helps reduce transport costs and time, boosting efficiency

MB crusher is now offering its high performance crusher buckets into the Chinese market, as well as the rest of South East Asia. The firm is introducing two models for excavators, the BF120.4 model to China, which is suitable for excavators in the 30tonne class and above, as well as the BF90.3, which is suited for excavators weighing from 21tonnes and above. In addition, MB Crusher is now offering the MB-L200 crusher bucket, which is designed for use with wheeled loaders, backhoe loaders and skid steer loaders. Other attachments being launched by the firm in the Chinese market are the MB-S18 screening bucket and the MB-R800 drum cutter.

According to MB Crusher, its wide range of units are said to be versatile, durable and productive and can cope with tough site conditions, even with difficult materials. The firm claims that its bucket crusher, screener and cutter drum attachments help boost versatility for customers, while reducing transport needs, cost and time as materials can be cut, reduced and sorted onsite.

In Indonesia, for example, one customer has installed a MB-S23 screening bucket on a 2300 Komatsu excavator to clean the alluvial rocks from sand, mud and clay. Once cleaned, the screened material has been crushed and used for road maintenance work. Mounted on a Cat 3360 excavator, a BF120.4 crusher bucket has been used in China to crush excavated rock that is then recycled for use in road construction.

The Malaysian market is another sector where MB Crusher is already having success and sees further potential. Malaysia’s road network currently extends for a total of 65,000km but the country is looking to expand its system, with a huge need for materials onsite.

The need for roads featuring stable base layers means that large quantities of rushed rock are required. Studies carried out in Malaysia have identified the problems faced by contractors and reasons why many projects are delayed and require time extensions for completion. Shortages of materials, trained personnel and suitable machinery are major issues, as are changes to designs and financial problems.

However, one contractor recently found a suitable solution by employing a BF90.3 crusher bucket from MB Crusher, which was mounted on a Hyundai 210 LC-7 excavator. With this combination, materials are now sourced at the site, with the equipment controlled by a single operator. The excavator is easy to manoeuvre with its crusher bucket on-site and the equipment is said to be both productive and cost-effective in the application.
