The nomination closing date is fast approaching for 2017 Asphalt Recycling/Reclaiming Award so don’t delay. Nominate Your Project Today!

The Asphalt Recycling/Reclaiming Award are organised by the US-based 8542 Asphalt Recycling & Reclaiming Association (ARRA) and Roads & Bridges magazine.

The Roads & Bridges/ARRA Recycling Awards honour the top asphalt road recycling projects in North America.

Nominations are submitted to the R&B editorial staff, which, along with the ARRA’s executive committee, selects the winners based on amount of RAP used, cost savings and project challenges. Upon completion of the review process, top projects in the following categories will be determined:

  • Hot In-Place Recycling;
  • Cold In-Place Recycling;
  • Cold Planing; and
  • Full-Depth Reclamation


To qualify, projects must have been in the design or construction phase over the past 18 months. Past winners are not eligible.

(Please note that these awards are separate and distinct from ARRA's Annual Excellence in Recycling Awards for public agencies and consulting engineers.)
