Versatile concrete paving

GOMACO has designed its new GP-2400 concrete paver to be highly versatile, able to slipform tight radii as well as widths of up to 7.3m. The machine runs on the firm's 3m series two tracks to permit the tight turn capability and also reduce transport width to just 3m. The machine runs on the firm's 3m series two tracks to permit the tight turn capability and also reduce transport width to just 3m. The sophisticated GOMACO G+ control system is fitted and this comes with a self diagnostics package for grade and steering. The system is said to feature easy-to-operate hardware with steering and travel dials as well as buttons to control elevation. The G+ can operate in several languages and has a display screen showing parameters such as leg position, steering, travel information grade information and more.

The machine is equipped with a 3100 series open-front mould and a telescoping frame. With the standard telescoping frame it can pave widths from 3-5m, while frame inserts allow paving widths up to 7.3m and the machine is equipped with sixteen vibrator circuits as standard. Power comes from a Caterpillar C6.6 diesel rated at 129.5kW and the machine has two-speed track motors to maximise productivity by allowing faster travel between working areas.
