The new Flowcon product from 2492 Ultracrete is aimed at use in general concrete repairs and is said to offer a simple, multi-use system. This general-purpose flowable concrete is designed to offer a quality mix without the waste and inconsistency of site mixed materials. A 25kg bag can provide the correct material quantities for application depths from 20-200mm in one pass. The Flowcon bags contain aggregate, sands, chemical admixtures as well as a small pack of specialist cements and all the user has to do is add water, before applying. A single bag will provide 1m² and once the material has been applied it will achieve a compressive strength of 35.0N/mm² within 1 day and 77.0 N/mm² within 28 days.
