GOMCO appoints new distributor for Ecuador

Potain is launching its first hydraulic topless luffing jib crane, following tests on site with select dealers in Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. It is the first topless luffing jib model from Potain and its novel hydraulic technology is said to make it easier to assemble and faster to operate. Concrete paving specialist 218 GOMACO has appointed a new distributor for  Ecuador. The firm FIZAMAQ will now provide sales and service for GOMACO’s full line of concrete construction products. The appointment was made by Kent Godbersen, vice president of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for GOMACO. Francisco Ortega is GOMACO’s managing director for the country. FIZAMAQ is based in Quito, Ecuador. “FIZAMAC has been committed to sales and service of machinery for civil engineering projects and concrete,” Godbersen said. “Their main office is located in Quito and they’ll soon be reopening an office in Guayaquil that will include service facilities and warehousing space to stock spare parts.”
