A contractor in Malaysia is using an Elba plant from Ammann to produce concrete for a large construction project

Musyati is utilising an Ammann CBT 60 SL Elba Concrete-Mixing Plant. The company reports the plant is consistent and is also highly fuel-efficient. The firm said that the CBT 60 is simple and easy to operate, as well as being reliable and highly fuel-efficient. In addition, the firm says that the as1 Control System is intuitive to use while the CBT 60 SL Elba is engineered to offer exceptional accessibility to service and maintenance points.

Musyati’s sister company has an Ammann pre-mix plant at work on the Pan Borneo Highway project. The success of that plant is a key reason Musyati chose the Ammann CBT 60.

The CBT 60 SL Elba has proven fast to set up due to its folding mechanisms and compact design. The plant needs just two open-top containers for relocation and is manufactured to meet favourable transport dimensions when travelling.

The compact plant is equipped with a CEM 1000 S Elba single-shaft mixer and an integrated linear bin for storing between two and four aggregate types. Cement, water, aggregate scales and all other electric and pneumatic plant components are pre-installed and ready for operation.

The integrated control cabin houses the switching cabinet and offers additional space for the control system. With a theoretical hourly output of 60 m³/h, the CBT 60 SL Elba is the ideal plant for a wide range of applications.

No foundation is required for plant installation and instead, the plant can be sited on compacted ground while optional solutions are available for cement silo installation.
