GOMACO and Leica Geosystems agree joint partnership

Leica Geosystems and GOMACO Corporation are forming a new business partnership. The deal will cover stringless control technology for the concrete paving market. Leica Geosystems is a leading manufacturer of stringless paving technology and has entered into a definitive OEM value added reseller agreement with GOMACO Corporation, a leader in concrete paving equipment. The deal follows 12 years in which the two firms have worked together closely.

Leica Geosystems is a leading manufacturer of stringless paving technology and has entered into a definitive OEM value added reseller agreement with GOMACO Corporation, a leader in concrete paving equipment.

The deal follows 12 years in which the two firms have worked together closely. This relationship has brought the concrete paving sector a sophisticated 3D stringless paving solution. The new relationship will enable further collaboration between the two firms and paving contractors will benefit from further technological innovations. Under the terms of the agreement, GOMACO Corporation will sell, install, and support Leica Geosystems' Concrete Paving System. These services will be extended to existing and/or new customers using GOMACO equipment. The agreement started in January 1st. 2011. However, Leica Geosystems will continue to sell, service and support the concrete paving market with 3D stringless technology for all other manufacturers of paving machines through its direct and dealer channels.
