World premiere at Samoter: BOMAG'S BF 800
Construction equipment manufacturer 172 Bomag will have a special focus on milling machines and finishers, and will feature two product premieres: the new BOMAG BF 800 finisher (world premiere) and the sales launch of the BM 500/15 compact planer, plus milling drums for third party cold milling machines in the 500mm class.

It will also have a cross-section of its product range, from vibratory tampers, the successful BMP 8500 trench compactor, tandem rollers, single drum rollers using the latest measuring technology, through to the MPH 125 stabiliser/recycler with foamed bitumen system.

The newly-developed BF 800 with 20tonne operating weight and maximum screed width of up to 10m complements the company's current asphalt paver portfolio, and is available in track and wheeled versions with 6x6 all-wheel drive and electrically-heated screeds as standard.

Another highlight will be the start of sales of the BM 500/15 compact milling machine first shown as a prototype at 688 Bauma 2010, along with the sales launch of a range of quick-change milling drums for the BM 500/15, which is also being offerd for compact milling machines from other manufacturers in the 500mm class.
