Puerto Rico sets out road maintenance strategy

Puerto Rico's Department of Transport and Public Works (DTOP) is setting out a plan to road maintenance and improvement works.

1516 Puerto Rico's Department of Transport and Public Works (DTOP) is setting out a plan to road maintenance and improvement works. Some 24 roads will be upgraded across the island while a further 19 maintenance projects have been planned. This plan is part of a new phase in the DTOP's Road Maintenance and Improvement Plan. The works will see a total of US$500 million being spent on road upgrades.

    Algeria has set a new 2015 road maintenance and upgrade budget for its highway network. The Ministry for Public Works announced it is setting aside close to US$347 million for maintenance work on the country's highways during 2015.     Serbia has managed to reduce the cost of building the Corridor 10 highway by €80 million. These funds will instead be used to pay for upgrades and improvements needed for the second section of the highway project, close to Neradovci.
