This 14tonne class high frequency tandem asphalt roller is aimed at a market with contractors, road contractors and rental companies. The CC624HF features a drum width of 2.13m and produces a static linear load on the front and rear drums of 30 and 29.1kg/cm respectively. A choice of engines is offered, rated at 93 or 113kW. In addition to the central water tank, optional extra capacity can be specified at the front and rear giving a total capacity of up to 1400litres.

Dynapac's Compaction Analyser for asphalt can also be fitted to provide real-time information for the operator on rolling patterns and the next pass to be planned, taking into account the asphalt temperature. The system is also available with integrated GPS positioning technology.

The firm is also introducing its latest F182CS asphalt paver, which has working widths of up to 13.5m and a paving capacity of 900tonnes/hour, suiting it to use in large highway construction projects. The machine features a laying depth of 0-350mm and a working speed of 0-23m/min, with a hopper capacity of 7.8m³.

Dynapac is also showing its PL350T compact planer model, which has been purpose designed for partial repairs of asphalt and concrete pavement. The hydrostatically front driven PL350T features a hydraulic drum drive and a cutting width of 350m at a maximum cutting depth of 100mm. Power for the 2.8tonne PL350T comes from a Cummins B3.3 diesel rated at 45kW.

Bomag is now fitting its compact asphalt rollers in the 3-5tonne class with dual amplitudes. This new feature allows the BW 135 AD-5 and BW 138 AD/AC-5 models to be used for a wider range of applications. A rotary switch allows the operator to simply switch between the low and large amplitude. On a variety of applications, the high amplitude of 0.5mm provides fast and economical compaction. The lower amplitude of 0.2mm in the front and rear drums provides more sensitive compaction of thinner layers and
