Mazio’s paving attachment SKID Paver for skid steer loaders

Mazio is offering a versatile skid steer-mounted paver attachment for use in utility jobs. The firm says that the unit suits use on asphalt patching and paving of roads, pathways, bicycle tracks, parking lots, driveways and utility trenches.

With a 1.4m³ hopper capacity, a paving width of up to 1.9m, and a paving speed of 25m/minute, the firm’s SKID Paver can be installed on any type of skid steer loader. The unit works with hot or cold mix asphalt, paving asphalt thicknesses of 50-250mm. Liquid propane gas (LPG) heaters heat material to 140°C. The 2.75m-wide hopper receives asphalt material directly from the haul truck, allowing for front or side loading and feeds to a 200mm auger.

The retractable hydraulic screed allows the operator to work around obstacles. The SKID Paver can be operated forward and backward from the cab or via a wireless remote control. All functions operate hydraulically, including auger, the screed lifting/lowering as well as the telescopic positioning and hopper opening/closing.

The 711kg SKID Paver unit features an adapter plate, control panel box and remote control, feeding auger, self-leveling system, screed heat system and an optional vibrator. The hopper opens into two widths and folds for easy transport. The machine will also spread sand, gravel and stones and concrete in flat layers.
