The new Ammann soil compactor offers high performance and productivity

The ASC110, ASC130 and ASC150 share features with the bigger machine as well as having a reduced drum frame width and a revised weight distribution over the models they replace. The firm says that the design changes improve efficiency making them comparable in productivity with conventional products in the next higher weight category. Compact dimensions increase manoeuvrability and stability of the machines and also make transportation easier and cheaper. With these new models, the ASC110-ASC170 compactors now offer maximum working weights of 11-17.8tonnes, working widths up to 2.13m and have fully hydraulic drives with low centres of gravity for stability.
