Roadtec has used proven components for its tracked MTV model

This model is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 diesel, rated at 186kW and which meets Tier 4 Final/Stage V emissions requirements. Of note is that this is the first tracked MTV from Roadtec. The firm says that the machine offers high performance and durability, while utilising proven components and systems from its existing product line. Using these components has allowed the firm to meet market demand for a tracked MTV. It does not have the remixing capability of its stable mate, the Shuttle Buggy. However, the machine features the proven chassis of the firm’s wheeled MTV 1100. In addition, the tracked undercarriage system is also proven, as it comes from the firm’s own RP 195e asphalt paver.
