Paving in urban areas has its own set of challenges and demands on paving machinery: tight spaces, weight limits and underground pipes, not to mention old exposed materials such as cobblestones. To meet these challenges, Dynapac’s popular Compact Paver F1250CS has been improved with the launch of a new version, the F1250CS Plus.

Modifications to the previous model are aimed at even higher protection and comfort of the operator when paving surfaces from walkways and bike paths to underground garages and alleyways. The Plus is deal for areas where there is a need for high-quality results between 0.5-3.5m width.

Furthermore, when the new Plus is paired with the remote-control RC 360, operators can position themselves wherever they want and enjoy a new freedom, improved mobility and even greater safety – all without being tied to dashboard controls.

One of the most significant improvements are the redesigned side engine doors that direct outflowing air away from the screed operator. An optional hydraulic auger height adjustment provides greater operator comfort, allowing for easier and more precise height adjustments.

Material flow optimisation has been achieved through proportional control of auger and conveyor. This regulates the transfer amount of material fully automatically, ensuring a consistent and efficient flow throughout paving.

The screed of the F1250CS Plus is available in both gas- and electric-heated versions – a unique offering in the market, according to Dynapac. The compact and powerful V2400 has the same quality and performance as its larger "brothers" and comes with a handy extension box for greater widths. Its robust tamper and vibratory plate ensure ideal compaction while reducing the number of roller passes.

As an added benefit, this compact paver can pave below zero, thus increasing refurbishment job efficiency; the paver can drive out of the milling cut, allowing the screed to pave a smooth finish. Thanks to multiple adjustments, such as the angle of attack and the deep bottom plates, the screed delivers an excellent pre-compaction and a smooth surface, even with thick layers. The quick coupling means setup and operation are always easy and ready to go.

The RC360 Remote

With the addition of the RC360 remote control, the operator can control the paver from a point that reduces exposure to asphalt fumes while providing maximum visibility and results. The RC360 comes with a case and charging devices with a mechanical connector for external supply. A built-in safety feature is automatic engine shutdown when the operator moves further than 10m from the paver. The paver also automatically stops when the remote is tilted higher angle than 45°.

Thanks to the ergonomic side shields, their height, and angle are adjustable with only one crank. The crank is placed on top of the side shield creating a comfortable, central and safe workplace for the screed operator. The F120CS Plus also comes with a USB, 24V/DC and a 230V/AC socket to fulfill everyday needs on the job site.

The F1250C Plus is equipped with the very latest in efficient and emission-reducing diesel motor technology. A 4-cylinder 54kW Deutz engine is also available as T3/Stage III and T4/Stage V to meet emissions requirements in the various markets.
