A steady flow of trucks was used to remove the milled asphalt from the site, as well as to bring fresh asphalt for use in the resurfacing work. Of note was the fact that the milling and repaving job was carried out in cold temperatures, with the compaction work having to be carried out very quickly to ensure the surface could meet the required specification.
