233 Hitachi's new wheeled excavator offers the latest engine and advanced hydraulics. The short-tail ZX145W-3 suits applications in confined urban areas as well as on highway projects. The machine has been developed especially for European customers and features an integrated transmission and a reinforced structure.

The Hitachi ZX145W-3 is powered by a new-generation DOHC four-valve engine, that complies with all current EU Environmental Emission Regulations and delivers 90kW. The Zaxis wheeled excavator also features the latest advanced hydraulic technology to efficiently control engine output and help to reduce fuel consumption. This combination of powerful engine and cutting-edge hydraulics also leads to a faster travel speed of up to 38km/h. The machine's 1.85m short-tail swing radius allows it to work in confined spaces, while the newly designed two-piece boom increases maximum digging reach and decreases overall height.

The ZX145W-3 has a spacious cab that offers a good view of the jobsite and features a rear-view camera as standard. Weighing in at 15.8tonnes in its conventional configuration, the ZX145W-3 has a 0.5m3 bucket as standard, can be equipped with optional hydraulic suspension on the front axle and has a reinforced undercarriage.
