Tunnelling equipment from Chinese firm 2490 XCMG has played an important role in a project in Montenegro. The work was carried out by contractor CCCC Tunnel Engineering Company and involved the excavation of the Jabuka Tunnel Works. CCCC Tunnel Engineering Company opted to use two XCMG XTR260 tunnel boring machines for the task. As expected, the tunnel boring machines performed splendidly, and broke several records in the history of local project construction.
