7139 Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe officially launched its new range of compact wheel loaders, models V7 and V8, at the NordBau snow in Neumunster, Germany.

The launch took place at the booth of Yanmar’a business partner company, HKL Baummaschinen.

The V7 model has an operating weight of 4,100kg and a payload of 1,800kg, while the V8 has an operating weight of 4,350kg and a payload of 2,100kg. Height for both models is less than 2.5m.

A hydrostatic power unit ensures traction and loading forces. Additionally, the models are available with an Inch-Break-Pedal. The pedal enables an adjustment of performance between the power unit and the working hydraulics. Using the Z-bar concept, it allows a high break-out force.

The special structure of the rear frame and the in-line engine mounted guarantee best access to all service and maintenance points, according to Yanmar.

The hydraulic quick coupler combined with the standard working hydraulics system facilitates the use of the attachments. The operator can switch between standard bucket and pallet fork without leaving the cabin.

The Minimess points for checking hydraulic components are also easily accessible. An articulated joint between the front and the rear frame combined with an oscillating rear axle offers very good stability while driving on uneven grounds. By additionally using a differential lock - only available on the V8 model - the operator can optimise the traction force of the loader.

The cabin’s big glass windows offers a 360-degree view. The multifunctional joystick makes it easy to operate all driving and working modes simultaneously.

Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe has its headquarters and manufacturing plant in Saint-Dizier, France.

JCB has high hopes for its new Hydradig wheeled excavator, which is said to offer high versatility and stability, as well as visibility, mobility, manoeuvrability and serviceability. A key feature of the machine is the novel layout of its engine and fuel tank, mounted on the lower chassis member rather than on the rotating upperstructure. This helps provide a much better view from the newly-designed cab, aided by large glass panels, and allows the operator to see all four wheels. This radical design also lo
