2426 Tamtron has developed a new system for managing stockpiling of bulk materials such as aggregates and other crushed products. The system is called iStock, which makes it possible to weigh each bucket load of a wheeled loader accurately. The control system works when material is loaded from stock to a truck and the system allows a company to keep precise track of material stockpiles at an operation.

The iStock system is optional for all Tamtron scales and is linked to the firm's server with password entry for customers. As the service functions on-line, the customer can check stopckpiles in real-time using the system. Other benefits include the elimination of wastage, fast and accurate bookkeeping and constant availability of material when alarm limits are installed. The system also makes the invoicing process more accurate and faster. An optional feature linked to Tamtron scales is an immobiliser for a wheeled loader or any other vehicle where the scale is installed. The system prevents the unauthorised use of the machine and helps prevents theft.
