According to the firm, this package meets increasing demand for sophisticated fleet monitoring and remote equipment monitoring. The firm offers DoosanConnect, the wireless fleet and asset management system for its excavator, wheeled loader and articulated dump truck ranges. The DoosanConnect system is a web-based fleet management solution which can be used for monitoring the performance and security of machines and promoting preventative maintenance. This is available as a standard feature on its Stage IV compliant excavators (from 14tonnes up), Stage IV compliant wheeled loaders and Stage IV compliant ADTs.

The new service allows owners and dealers to remotely monitor and communicate with Doosan machines via the DoosanConnect telematics website. The package includes a GPS unit to monitor machine location and allow geofencing, as well as a Q-Pro wireless data modem with wireless service to send data collected from controllers in the machine to the telematics website.
