SDLG’s four new earthmoving machines for Russian market

SDLG unveiled four new construction machines for the Russian market at the recent bauma CTT exhibition in Moscow. The excavator, wheeled loader, grader and soil compactor models have all proven successful in other markets. SDLG unveiled four new construction machines for the Russian market at the recent bauma CTT exhibition in Moscow. The excavator, wheeled loader, grader and soil compactor models have all proven successful in other markets. As a result, SDLG aims to expand its presence in Russia by offering these units in addition to other models.


“Russia is one of the largest markets for 5316 SDLG worldwide,” said Aleksandr Matveenko, project manager for SDLG in Russia. “During bauma CTT Russia, we showcased four machines that have been proven in other markets as cost-effective and reliable options for applications such as road and general construction.”

The four SDLG machines displayed included an LG6210E excavator, an LG978 wheeled loader, a G9220 motor grader, along with one totally new RS7120 drum roller. SDLG also held machine demonstrations of the LG6210E excavator and the LG978 wheeled loader during bauma CTT Russia, which was held at Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow.

The LG6210E has an operating weight of 20.7tonnes and an X-shape undercarriage frame, which provides a rigid and durable platform for the toughest of working environments. The machine is powered by a high-torque, fuel-efficient turbocharged Dalian Deutz engine with an intercooler, which cools the air compressed by the turbocharger. This allows denser, more oxygen-rich air to funnel through the engine, improving combustion and generating more power.

The LG6210E has a maximum digging reach of 9.94m, a maximum digging depth of 6.73m, and a maximum cutting height of 9.45m.   An important feature of the excavator for the Russian market, with its often ferociously cold winters, is the engine’s preheating system, which kicks in when the coolant temperature drops below 5°C. SDLG machines are available in Russia through Higer Bus Rus LLC, based in Moscow.
