There are four models in the new LB range, with operating weights from 68.4-113.5tonnes and these are capable of drilling diameters from 1.2-2.5m and to depths from 35-70m using Kelly equipment. The powerful LB28 offers a maximum torque of 280 kNm and features a rope descent system with a 40tonne retraction force. The machines are said to be stable in operation and can be transported in a single unit. Where transport restrictions apply, the leader features a quick-assembly system to minimise set-up time on-site.
