A TR70 rigid hauler from Terex Trucks is helping boost output at a facility in Missouri
A new rigid hauler from 8081 Terex Trucks is proving useful for a quarrying facility in the US state of Missouri. The family-owned company, Conco Quarries, is using a TR70 model to help boost productivity at its limestone facility in Willard, Missouri.

Conco is also a subsidiary of Ash Grove Cement, the country’s largest privately owned US cement company. To help continue the smooth running of its operations at its Willard facility, the company recently purchased a 65tonne capacity TR70 rigid hauler built by Terex Trucks. Designed to aid maximum production with minimum effort, the machine is working 10-hour days hauling crushed limestone from the face of the quarry to the crusher. Supplied by Terex Trucks’ Midwest dealer GW Van Keppel, Conco opted for the TR70 as part of an ongoing equipment renewal program. The truck has helped boost productivity as its haulage capacity exceeds that of the site’s existing machines by 28tonnes.

    February 17, 2012
The skid steer loader has for many years been known as a jack-of-all-trades. Indeed the term loader can be a bit misleading, as a skid steer is far more than simply a digging or lifting machine.
