Hitachi rolls out new excavators at bauma China

Hitachi has unveiled a new range of hydraulic excavators at bauma China 2014. High performance, productivity and durability are claimed. The models on show range from the powerful 69tonne ZX690LCH-5A to the 16.8tonne ZX170LC-5A.

Hitachi’s new quarry-sized excavator offers high performance and productivity

233 Hitachi has unveiled a new range of hydraulic excavators at bauma China 2014. High performance, productivity and durability are claimed. The models on show range from the powerful 69tonne ZX690LCH-5A to the 16.8tonne ZX170LC-5A. The other two models on show were the 34.1tonne ZX360K-5G and the 20.3tonne ZX200-5G. The ZX690LCH-5A is a heavy duty machine suited to quarry applications for truck loading for example, with power from a 345kW diesel and wielding a 4m3 bucket. The ZX360K-5G can be used in earthmoving and quarrying and features a 1.6m3 bucket, while its engine is rated at 184kW. The ZX200-5G is aimed at a popular size class used in a wide array of applications, with power from a 125kW diesel and featuring a 0.91m3 bucket. The ZX170LC-5A has a 79kW diesel and a 0.7m3 bucket and is a highly versatile machine to suit an array of applications.
