Sicom is in the process of extending its current two model grader line-up. At present the firm offers 7.5tonne and 10tonne models and is adding a single-axle 5tonne and the top of the range 12.5tonne models early in 2009. The firm has already had considerable success with its 7.5tonne, hydrostatic drive IM80 model, which is also said to offer high visibility of the blade due to its cylinder blade slew system.

The company has supplied a number of units to Eastern and Western Europe, Central and South America and from North to South Africa and is hoping that customers will see similar benefits from the new 10tonne model, as well as the upcoming 5 tonne and 12.5tonne units.

Increasing demand from the rental market has encouraged SICOM to develop a new compact grader that is versatile and offers high performance. The MG100 features full hydrostatic drive allowing smooth and progressive control with power from a 75kW 299 Perkins diesel that meets Stage IIIA/Tier 3 emissions requirements. The larger MG120 and the new MG60 single axle will share many of the same features, with the latter completing the firm's compact grader line. All of the graders are available with an array of options and attachments including front blades, scarifiers and rippers and can also be equipped with sophisticated laser or GPS machine controls.
