Doosan unveils Tier 3 compliant excavators

Doosan unveiled a new range of excavators that are all China Stage III compliant. While initially only for the Chinese market a Doosan representative confirmed that they will be offered for other emergent markets. The largest is the DX500LC-9C. In the 50 tonne class it is powered by a 257kW engine and has a 2.14m3 bucket.

695 Doosan unveiled a new range of excavators that are all China Stage III compliant. While initially only for the Chinese market a Doosan representative confirmed that they will be offered for other emergent markets.

The largest is the DX500LC-9C. In the 50 tonne class it is powered by a 257kW engine and has a 2.14m3 bucket.

The DX420 is a 42 tonne class machine with a 2m3 bucket and 257kW engine power. A 38 tonne range excavator is provided by the DX380 model. It has a bucket with a volume of 1.7m3 and a 214kW engine on tap. Finally the DX340 is the smallest in the range and is in the 34 tonne range. Bucket capacity is 1.4m3 and it powered by a 191kW diesel.
