Work commencing on Vietnam’s key road building project

Work is starting on a section of the road that will connect Son La and Cam Lo in Vietnam.

This new section of road will form a stretch of Vietnam’s North-South expressway project. Building this particular stretch of road is expected to cost nearly US$326 million, with the Vietnamese Government having sourced the necessary funding for the work.

    The Vietnamese Government has given the go-ahead for work on a key section of the country’s North-South highway project. This 7.5km stretch of the route will run between District 2's National Highway 22 and Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park.   • Vietnam expressway project gets go ahead

    Approval has been given for Vietnam’s Hoa Binh-Moc Chau expressway project. The go ahead has been given by Vietnam’s Government. The project has an estimated cost of US$881 million and is planned as a public-private partnership. The construction work is expected to take 42 months and the new route will connect Hoa Binh to Moc Chau.
