Volvo CE have their own team branded as the CE Dealer Team with a mixed driver line-up and the only female driver in the RX 1 category

World Highways was invited and attended the Volvo CE Press event held at the Estering Racetrack in northern Germany, 19-20th August.

The press event was to showcase the new 20-tonne L120H electric conversion wheeled loader and the 23-tonne EC230 electric excavator.

Volvo CE had an impressive showing at the Estering racetrack and were anticipating 50+ customers and VIPs to visit during the two-day racing event. This was round seven of the World RX series with just South Africa and Hong Kong remaining to decide the championship.

Volvo CE have their own team branded as the CE Dealer Team with a mixed driver line-up and the only female driver in the RX 1 category.

Both drivers had a strong showing at Estering, but sadly with Niclas Gronholm suffering a mechanical failure and then a puncture it wasn’t what the team was hoping for. Klara Andersson also ran well, but unfortunately at one point ending up in the gravel trap spoiled her weekend.

Please join Volvo CE at steinexpo this week (August 23-26) to view some of their exciting innovative products on BOOTH A10.
