CeDe is a specialist supplier of modified machines

359 Volvo CE plans to acquire specialist firm 2694 CeDe Group, based in Malmo, Sweden. CeDe modifies construction machines for use in special applications, adapting equipment in low volumes. CeDe Group works for several leading OEMs, including Volvo CE and its dealers. Its adaptations include developing long reach booms for demolition excavators, water or fuel bowsers for haulers, rail conversions for wheeled excavators, as well as conversions for underground applications.

Volvo CE will make available its considerable competences to the company and aims to add resources to allow it to expand its market reach and customer bases, becoming a European leader in this specialised field. The company will continue to provide and expand its engineering services to non-Volvo CE customers.
