5316 SDLG unveiled the LG6210E excavator, the LGB677 backhoe loader, and the LG953N energy-saving wheeled loader during the recent 5848 CTT show in Moscow.

The launch of the three key new machine models was said to mark the start of a push to expand the Chinese company’s reach in the Russian market.

“For the past three years, SDLG has sold more wheeled loaders in Russia than any other Chinese manufacturer and we have 29% of the market for China-built products in the country” said Yu Mengsheng, deputy CEO of SDLG. “With the introduction of these two new product lines — excavators and backhoe loaders — plus an updated wheeled loader, we hope to maintain our status as the number one Chinese supplier of wheeled loaders and use our strong reputation to build our customer base in Russia for excavators and backhoe loaders. We believe that those who are familiar with our reliable, cost-effective wheeled loaders will find similar qualities in our robust new excavators and backhoe loaders.”

Yu helped formally launch the new products during a special ceremony on the company’s CTT show booth. Among those also in attendance were representatives from SDLG’s two Russian dealers: RBA and SDT, along with SDLG dealers from neighbouring countries including Ukraine and Belarus. Alongside the three new machines, SDLG also displayed its LG918, LG933L, LG936L and LG968 wheeled loaders and the LGS814L road roller on its stand.

SDLG has sold machines in Russia since 2005, and its dealers RBA, SDT and KMPK each handle sales and aftermarket services, including spare parts supply, on behalf of the company. In addition, SDLG runs its own offices in Moscow and Novosibirsk to provide support to dealers, including service and training.
