The SD32 Plus is the first of Shantui’s new high performance dozers aimed at the export market
1171 Shantui is offering high performing versions of its bulldozers as well as a new wheeled loader. The SD32 Plus bulldozer unveiled at the 2730 BICES show is the first of the high performance models from the firm and is available now, with more coming to market in due course. Aimed at export markets the SD32 Plus offers new high quality hydraulics, an upgraded power train, improved electronic controls and a heavy duty 196 Cummins diesel. As with other bulldozers in the range it has a large volume blade that optimises earthmoving and weighs in at 37.2tonnes in standard configuration and 41.6tonnes when fitted with its optional ripper. The company will also introduce Plus versions of the smaller SD13, SD16 and SD22 bulldozers and these will share the same improved electronics and hydraulics as the SD32 now being launched.

The new SL50WN wheeled loader is a 16.8tonne machine that features a 3m3 bucket as standard. This machine comes with engine options including Cummins and 2731 Weichai diesels and rated at 162kW. More efficient hydraulics than previous generation machines are said to ensure low fuel consumption as well as high productivity, while the cab has been redesigned to improve operator comfort.

In addition sister company JCM says that it is offering an improved range of hydraulic excavators, which are designed using in-house technology. These are sold under the JCM brand in China although they can be packaged as Shantui machines for export sale.
