The Indonesian Ministry Of Public Works plans to allot US$524.5 million for the upgrade of national roads in capital Jakarta as part of its 2012 budget. The construction of the 16km Tanjong Priok access toll road is one of the key projects, along with the Ciputat-Bogor, Depok-Tangerang and Banten-Gandaria roads. Other projects budgeted are for the maintenance of national roads in Bogor, Bekasi, Jakarta and Banten.

The 1155 Indonesian Ministry Of Public Works plans to allot US$524.5 million for the upgrade of national roads in capital Jakarta as part of its 2012 budget. The construction of the 16km Tanjong Priok access toll road is one of the key projects, along with the Ciputat-Bogor, Depok-Tangerang and Banten-Gandaria roads.     Data from the Nepalese Government shows that work is on-going to upgrade the country’s road network. Public Road Statistics from the Ministry of Physical Planning, Works and Transport Management show that 1,180km of new roads have been constructed in Nepal in the 2011-2012 fiscal year.     Tanzania’s Ministry of Works has opened a key road project to bidding for expressions of interest. The 100km route from capital Dar es Salaam to Chalinze is to be upgraded to a tolled expressway.
