The Indonesian Ministry Of Public Works plans to allot US$524.5 million for the upgrade of national roads in capital Jakarta as part of its 2012 budget. The construction of the 16km Tanjong Priok access toll road is one of the key projects, along with the Ciputat-Bogor, Depok-Tangerang and Banten-Gandaria roads. Other projects budgeted are for the maintenance of national roads in Bogor, Bekasi, Jakarta and Banten.

The 1155 Indonesian Ministry Of Public Works plans to allot US$524.5 million for the upgrade of national roads in capital Jakarta as part of its 2012 budget.     Indonesia is continuing with its toll road expansion programme. The construction firm Jakarta Tollroad Development (JTD) is speeding up the construction of the six toll roads in Jakarta. The projects are expected to cost in the region of US$3.16 billion. These form part of the programme to construct 47 toll new roads, with this work making up Indonesia’s National Strategic Project.
