Moscow tunnel for traffic solution

A tunnel currently under construction should help deliver a solution to the endemic traffic congestion problems suffered in Russian capital Moscow.

A tunnel currently under construction should help deliver a solution to the endemic traffic congestion problems suffered in Russian capital Moscow. The authorities in Moscow intend to extend the Alabyano-Baltyisky Tunnel along Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street. This would require building an additional underpass under a railway. Should the plan go ahead, the tunnel would measure 29km in length. The total project is estimated to cost US$2.3 billion. The city plans to complete major work by December 2011.

  • Tender offer for Moscow – St Petersburg highway

    Bidding is strong for work on a key section of the Moscow to St Petersburg highway. Several offers have been made for the project, which will connect the Businovskaya and MKAD junction to Festivalnaya Street, and a junction of Festivalnaya Street and MKAD.
