Intercomp Weighing Systems says that its advanced weighing solution will speed weight checks and help boost highway safety by reducing the risk of overloading. 1315 Intercomp Weighing Systems says that its advanced weighing solution will speed weight checks and help boost highway safety by reducing the risk of overloading.

The latest addition to the firm's weighing range is an RFX wireless weighing system, which combines Intercomp's advanced low resistance load cells with its latest RFX wireless weighing package. The new wireless scales feature enclosed and integrated RFX wireless radios that transmit data from the platforms to a handheld PDA, PT20 CPU, or a PC running Intercomp's application software.

The RFX system uses standard 2.4GHz wireless frequencies and can communicate with up to 190 platforms at once for large, complex weighing applications. This field-proven wireless weighing technology is said
to offer both accuracy and ease-of-use.
