It has higher sensitivity, higher gain level, improved WDR, defog function and improved autofocus speed. As such, it offers what the company claims is unrivalled performance even in extreme low light conditions.

The unit’s optional IR LED illuminator, ULISSE COMPACT HD provides sharp images of the monitored area at night and is able to detect a figure in the dark up to 200m away.

The built-in wiper keeps the front window clean in all weather conditions. A wide choice of water tanks with pump are available with varied capacities and delivery heights.

VIDETEC says that the easy management and control of Pan/Tilt/Zoom functions allows image transmission over Ethernet with H.264/AVC and MJPEG compression and is certified ONVIF-S.

The camera is aimed at an array of markets including those for traffic, highway and parking areas. The unit is said to be reliable, durable and able to offer a long working life, even in tough climates with challenging conditions. The low light capabilities meanwhile allow the device to provide accurate vehicle identificationat night both for tolling and enforcement verification purposes.
