Energy efficient street lighting

EMCOR Group subsidiary Welsbach Electric has been awarded a contract to install electrical street lights for the New York City Department of Transportation (DOT). The company will be responsible for furnishing and installing 83,000, state-of-the-art electronic, energy efficient cobra head streetlight fixtures throughout the the city's boroughs of Manhattan, Staten Island and The Bronx.

EMCOR Group subsidiary 3179 Welsbach Electric has been awarded a contract to install electrical street lights for the New York City Department of Transportation (DOT).
The company will be responsible for furnishing and installing 83,000, state-of-the-art electronic, energy efficient cobra head streetlight fixtures throughout the the city's boroughs of Manhattan, Staten Island and The Bronx.
New York City DOT oversees one of the most complex urban transportation networks in the world, and also actively promotes the use of sustainable modes of transportation.
