The American-made HUG uses a 2.5cm (1") solid steel axle shaft on two 1,400kg (3,100lb) rated cast iron roller bearings and an ultra-heavy duty stainless actuator that has a 1,406kg (3,400lb) load capacity - all for a 2.7kg (6lb) arm.
