A new webinar will discuss the impact of the current Corona Virus pandemic on transport.

Titled: Transport Impacts and Innovation: COVID-19, the webinar is on Friday, 24th April 2020 - 11: 00am EST (USA).

This is the first in a monthly series of webinars hosted by the International Professional Association for Transport & Health (IPATH).

The Collaboration Hub will feature a 30 to 60-minute open discussion on a real-world practice topic led by a cross-disciplinary team of transport and health professionals.

Each presenter (or presentation team) will provide 15-20 minutes of introductory information, which will be followed by open discussion. This is a time for on-line participants to join the conversation and brainstorm on HOW to implement change and/or come up with innovative transport design and planning infrastructure schemes.

This inaugural webinar will feature an introduction and overview of various transport issues related to COVID-19 (10 minutes), what cities are doing with reallocation of roadway space to facilitate social distancing (10 minutes) and a focus on technology/vehicle solutions (15 minutes) led by: Shawn Leight Transportation Engineer; Jacque Knight Transportation Planner; Zahra Bahrani Fard Transportation Systems Analyst.

Presentations will be followed by OPEN/brainstorming discussion (10-20 minutes). The event will be hosted on Zoom. More information: www.ipathinc.org/
