The 2364 US Department of Transportation (USDoT) has announced the availability of version 7.0 of the National Intelligent Transportation Systems (3278 ITS) Architecture that provides a common framework for planning, defining, and integrating ITS deployments. It has been developed and evolved via stakeholder input and reflects the contributions of a broad cross-section of the ITS community and provides a definitive reference for ITS deployment planning.

The National ITS Architecture defines the functions that are required for ITS; the physical subsystems where these functions reside; and the information exchanges that connect these functions and physical subsystems together into an integrated system.

Fans operate at fixed speed in manual mode or with individual fans programmed to switch on and off at preset times to ensure zero portal emissions with all emissions dispersed via ventilation stacks. EastLink’s new ventilation on demand – VoD - system matches variable speed fan
