Turkish motorway and bridge tolls make US$200.79mn in H1 2013

Turkey generated US$200.79 million (TRY 390mn) from motorway and bridge tolls in the first half of 2013. In H1 2013, bridges were used by 76.5 million vehicles raising $57.24 million (TRY 111.5mn) revenue. Over the same period, motorways were used by 110 million vehicles raising $143.55 million (TRY 280mn).

    Deutz has revealed a 40% increase in its new orders during Q1 2013 compared to the previous trading quarter. The Cologne, Germany-based diesel engine manufacturing giant said the significant new order rise represented a continuation of an encouraging trend that emerged in Q4 2012.     A US$250 million loan has been agreed for a huge motorway upgrade scheme in southern Brazil.
