Toll road in Argentina attracts bids

Bidding is now in hand for a 1,150km toll road concession project in Argentina. The route will run along Argentina's Atlantic Coast in Buenos Aires Province and the concession will be for a 30 year period.

RSSBidding is now in hand for a 1,150km toll road concession project in Argentina. The route will run along Argentina's Atlantic Coast in Buenos Aires Province and the concession will be for a 30 year period. The project is expected to require an investment of some US$2.02 billion and will require major financial backing. However the project has attracted considerable interest, with four large bids having been placed.

Argentinian firm 3307 Electroingenieria, which is building works on 15 road national roads and operates the toll concessions on routes 9 and 34, is one of bidders looking to run the road and toll concession on the Atlantic Coast in Buenos Aires province, including routes 2, 11, 36, 63, 56 and 74. Electroingenieria is working with 3308 Coarco, 3309 Equimaq, JCR, 3310 Burgwardt and CIA for this concession.
