Swarco forecasts record turnover growth

Austrian traffic systems manufacturer Swarco Group expects to record a turnover growth of double digits to €465 million (US$643.96 million) in 2011, after a turnover of €409.7 million in 2010.

Austrian traffic systems manufacturer 337 Swarco Group expects to record a turnover growth of double digits to €465 million (US$643.96 million) in 2011, after a turnover of €409.7 million in 2010.

For 2012, despite economic uncertainty, Swarco has won a number of large contracts, including a €40mn contract to supply traffic management systems to Saudi Arabia, as well as a part in a €52mn contract for traffic systems for a 16 kilometre tunnel in Sweden. The company has also recently set up a joint venture in Silicon Valley in the US for the development of a new traffic information and communication system.
