Work is due to start on the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEx) in the Philippines in March 2010. The new highway will cut travel time and help boost economic development in and around Luzon.

Work is due to start on the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEx) in the Philippines in March 2010. The new highway will cut travel time and help boost economic development in and around Luzon. The 88.6km TPLEx runs from the end of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx), located in La Paz, until La Union's Rosario. The project is expected to cost US$343.31 million and is due for completion by 2014.
