New Indonesian toll roads

A key new road project is being planned in Indonesia.

A key new road project is being planned in Indonesia. The project is for a 39km toll road linking Pemalang with Batang and construction work is expected to commence in mid 2012. The finance structure for the Pemalang-Batang toll road project is still being established however. In addition to this project Indonesia;s Toll Road Authority is planning the 25km Cimanngis-Cibitung toll road and 57.5km Pejagan-Pemalang toll roads at present.

PT Waskita Karya (Waskita) is the main contractor for the IDR 2.1 trillion second section, spanning 11.9 kilometers between Cigombong and Cibadak, and set for completion in 2023 after being delayed due to the pandemic.
