New Indonesian toll roads

A key new road project is being planned in Indonesia.

A key new road project is being planned in Indonesia. The project is for a 39km toll road linking Pemalang with Batang and construction work is expected to commence in mid 2012. The finance structure for the Pemalang-Batang toll road project is still being established however. In addition to this project Indonesia;s Toll Road Authority is planning the 25km Cimanngis-Cibitung toll road and 57.5km Pejagan-Pemalang toll roads at present.

The country’s road expansion programme has a target of 1,852km of new toll roads to be complete by 2019 when the current administration ends its term in office.
