2377 Mouchel has secured a €5.1 million contract extension with Lincolnshire County Council to provide highways and transportation professional engineering services.

The recent extension - Mouchel’s fifth since the company’s appointment in April 2010 - takes the contract to March 2020.

Work covered includes highways and transportation services, as well as transport planning, environment, drainage and geotechnical services.

Mouchel has worked closely with Kier and Dynniq on the Lincoln contracts, said Charles Ferrar, regional director at Mouchel. The company recently managed a street lighting transformation programme that saved the authority more than €1.4 million a year in electricity costs.
