The tender process for two key toll roads in Indonesia is opening, subject to land clearance agreements being settled.

The tender process for two key toll roads in Indonesia is opening, subject to land clearance agreements being settled. The 54km Ciawi-Sukabumi toll road project will be worth some US$577.7 million while the 57.5km Pejagan-Pemalang toll road project will be worth $649.6 million. Construction work is planned to commence in April 2012 on both projects, with completion due in late 2013 and the roads being opened to traffic in early 2014.

    Two key highway upgrades will be carried out in Australia by Valemus, a subsidiary of German construction firm Bilfinger Berger. In total the work is worth some US$219.4 million.
