The tender process for two key toll roads in Indonesia is opening, subject to land clearance agreements being settled.

The tender process for two key toll roads in Indonesia is opening, subject to land clearance agreements being settled. The 54km Ciawi-Sukabumi toll road project will be worth some US$577.7 million while the 57.5km Pejagan-Pemalang toll road project will be worth $649.6 million. Construction work is planned to commence in April 2012 on both projects, with completion due in late 2013 and the roads being opened to traffic in early 2014.

    Indonesia is going ahead with three toll road concessions in West Java, according to the head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency, Herry Trisaputra Zuna. The three toll roads - Cileunyi-Banjar; Ciranjang-Padalarang; and Sukabumi-Ciranjang - will need total investment of up US$1.54 billion, he said.
