Indonesia toll road deals

The tender process for two key toll roads in Indonesia is opening, subject to land clearance agreements being settled.

The tender process for two key toll roads in Indonesia is opening, subject to land clearance agreements being settled. The 54km Ciawi-Sukabumi toll road project will be worth some US$577.7 million while the 57.5km Pejagan-Pemalang toll road project will be worth $649.6 million. Construction work is planned to commence in April 2012 on both projects, with completion due in late 2013 and the roads being opened to traffic in early 2014.

Banten’s Merak Port should be linked to the trans-Java toll road by the end of 2018.     Work is progressing on an important toll road project in Indonesia that will link Bogor, Sukabumi and Ciawi in West Java. The construction work is being carried out by Trans Jabar Tol, a subsidiary of state-owned firm Waskita Karya.
